AREA MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to organize and oversee the operations of a number of stores. You will assume responsibility for the overall success of multiple sites by setting targets, supervising FM's, and ensuring they are attained.

Effective area managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning are also essential for the role.

The goal is to ensure our sites will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

Evaluating existing operations and developing appropriate strategies.

Training assistant facility managers in effective sales and supervisory techniques.

Creating and communicating sales targets at regular intervals.

Monitoring sales across stores to check that quotas are met.

Detecting, investigating, and remedying discrepancies in sales across stores, if required.

Setting and implementing performance standards across all stores.

Ensuring that employees observe company protocols.

Collaborating with other Area Managers to ensure that operations are consistent across the board.

Traveling to stores to conduct your duties on-site, as needed.

Informing your Manager of progress and pitfalls on a regular basis.

What we Look For

Proven experience as area manager, store manager, assistant manager or similar managerial role

Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles

Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation

Excellent problem-solving abilities

BSc/BA in business administration, management or similar field
